1. Your Data Stays Yours: We separate your health data from your personal identifying information using a key on your phone. Only you can connect your data to you.
2. No Selling Your Data: We will never sell your data. Our mission is to help you, not to profit from your personal information.
3. No Ads: We don’t sell you ads, so you won’t be bombarded with targeted advertising based on your health data.
4. No Tracking on Other Apps: We don’t track your activity on other apps. Your health journey is yours alone.
5. Minimal Questions: We ask only the minimal amount of questions necessary to identify you, focusing on your privacy.

Because only you can connect yourself to your data, we are not able to provide it in response to U.S. subpoenas. Because we don’t know what the key is on your phone they can’t get it from us. They would have to obtain a warrant for each individual phone, which is practically prohibitive.
There’s also a lot of personal information on your phone beyond healthcare data, so we strongly recommend taking steps to protect it—like using PINs, enabling two-factor authentication, and creating unique sentence passwords with 4 words or more. And remember, don’t hand your phone over to anyone without a warrant.
